OUR DESIGN & BUILD PROCESS

Initial Chat

The journey starts with a phone call. We’ll discuss your building goals, project scope, and how our services can best meet your needs. To gain a deeper understanding of your vision, we’ll send you a project questionnaire.

In-Person Meeting

We’ll meet in person to explore your vision for your future home. This conversation covers what’s important to you and your family, your desired time frames, budgets, and your must-have features. If you already have concept plans, we’re happy to work with them. Otherwise, we’ll guide you through the design process.

Preliminary Design

We ensure project success through careful design planning. We work with engineers, planners, consultants, architects and council to maximise your budget. Our 2-3 stage process includes: Initial Planning, Conceptual Design, and Final Design, followed by pricing preparation.

Pricing

With your budget, scope of work, and plans in place, we’ll provide our quote and outline the construction timeline. We’ll meet with you to review the proposal and answer any questions.

Finalising Documentation

Once you’re satisfied with the design, timeline, and scope of work, we’ll prepare all the necessary documentation for signing.

Signing of Documents

We’ll formalise our agreement with a clear contract that outlines every aspect of the project. We’ll walk you through the documentation, ensuring you fully understand what’s involved before we proceed.

Building Approval

With signed documents in hand, we’ll handle the submission process for building approvals, working closely with certifiers to get the green light to start construction.

Construction

Once approval is granted, we’ll provide a start date and kick off construction. Clear communication is our priority, with regular timeline updates, scheduled site meetings,
and open access to us throughout the build.

OUR BUILDING PHASES

Profiles & Foundation

The site is prepared, and the sand pad is completed and tested. The foundation is boxed up, underfloor plumbing is installed, and steel work is prepared for inspection. The concrete slab is then poured, giving the first visible footprint of your home.

Drainage

Mains water, water tanks, and septic tank systems are installed externally.

Framework Begins

The framing is erected, marking an exciting stage as your home’s structure begins to take shape.

Structural Framework

Bracing elements, connections, and building wrap are installed. Scaffolding is set up, and trusses or rafters are delivered and positioned. Roof bracing and structural elements are completed, ready for roof installation.
