With over 24 years of hands-on experience, Andy leads our team, seamlessly blending traditional craftsmanship with innovative building techniques to deliver exceptional results. From intricate renovations to modern new builds, we bring a high level of skill and dedication to every project.
Our story
Andy’s journey in the trade began straight out of school, jumping into an apprenticeship at 18 with some of Waikato’s most respected carpenters. His passion for building took him abroad, where he honed his craft in the French Alps and Ireland, learning new methods and expanding his expertise. On returning to New Zealand, he brought those diverse skills back with him, building a team of highly skilled builders who share his commitment to quality.

Carpentry runs deep in our veins. Andy’s Grandad was a builder — a master craftsman whose dedication to creating beautiful, lasting homes inspired a legacy that continues today. Those heritage skills, combined with a modern approach, define everything we do.

About Andy
When not working, Andy enjoys home projects and landscaping with his wife Laura. He prioritises time with their two active boys and loves outdoor activities - snowboarding in winter (including trips to Canada and Japan) and spending summers jet skiing, fishing, and relaxing at the beach with family and friends.
Following in Dad’s footsteps
It looks like Andy’s passion for building is already being passed down to the next generation! Our little builders are never far from the action, keen to pick up tools (even if they’re just for practice) and learn from dad. Whether it’s helping out in the workshop or just exploring they’re curiosity, they’ve definitely got the building spirit in them!
