About US

Ever marveled at the workmanship of a grand old character home?

Perhaps you have looked up at a beautiful native timer ceiling and thought: 'they don't build them like that anymore'. Sadly, in New Zealand over the last few decades, this has been true far too often.

Whitechurch Construction aims to bring the quality standards of heritage craftsmanship into every contemporary homes we build. That means sound construction techniques, weather tightness and high thermal insulation as a given. Interior and exterior details are finished to a pleasingly high standard. As well as being built to last, Whitechurch homes are also built to appreciate.

Licensed Building Practitioner Andrew Whitechurch has over 17 years building experience. His apprenticeship taught him the value of heritage craftsmanship and this forms the foundations of every project he undertakes. In addition to his full-time team, Andrew has deliberately hand-picked senior tradesmen for plumbing, joinery and glazing work. Because, when it comes to building, nothing beats experience.
